SITUATION: You're at your cousin's wedding in NYC, and you're solo. Initially you and your spouse had both planned to attend, but her mother becomes ill. For that reason your wife stays behind. It's springtime in the Big Apple. You're in top form with a few days of newfound bachelorhood; your lady is entirely preoccupied four states away. At the rehearsal dinner the bridesmaid is chatting you up. It turns out her hubby is not there either.
